Description
The PRA Nominative Certificate is a document that provides detailed information on vehicles registered in the Public Automotive Registry (PRA) registered to a specific natural or legal person.
Who can request it?
The PRA Name Certificate can be requested by anyone, as long as they know the full name and tax code or VAT number of the person for whom they intend to obtain the document. Vehicles must be regularly registered with the PRA.
What does the PRA Nominative Certificate contain?
The PRA Name Certificate includes:
-
Vehicle data: license plate, chassis, factory, registration date, power, class/use, bodywork, engine capacity, fuel, number of seats.
-
Personal data of the vehicle owner: full name, date of birth, place of residence.
Please note that this report only shows vehicles currently registered to the individual and not vehicles no longer owned by the individual.
When is it useful to request the PRA Nominative Certificate?
The PRA Name Certificate is useful:
-
If you want to know if a debtor has vehicles registered in his name.
-
To find out if the owner has lost possession of a vehicle.
-
To check if a vehicle has been deregistered.
Please note that it cannot be requested for mopeds with a displacement of less than 50 cubic centimetres, buses, caravans, agricultural vehicles, and all trailers with a capacity of less than 3.5 tonnes. Furthermore, vehicles registered before 1993 may not be present in the Public Automobile Registry. In this case, it is necessary to access the competent territorial office where the registration took place.
